What we collect, and what we don't.

What we collect

When you place an order, we collect what's needed to fulfill it: your name, shipping address, billing address, email, and phone number. Payment information goes directly to our payment processors (Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay) — we never see or store your card number.

When you browse pawter.co, we collect standard analytics: your device type, the pages you visit, where you came from, and roughly where you are (city-level, not address). We use this to make the site better.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't share your email or address with marketing partners
• We don't run ad retargeting that follows you around the internet without your consent
• We don't keep payment information on our servers

Cookies

We use cookies for shopping cart functionality, basic analytics (Shopify, Google Analytics), and ads measurement (Meta and TikTok pixels, only if you consent). You can decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner on first visit.

Email marketing

If you sign up for our email list, we send a welcome series and occasional product updates. We use Klaviyo to manage emails. You can unsubscribe with one click from any email — we honor it within 24 hours.

Your rights

You can request a copy of all data we have on you, ask us to delete it, or correct it. Email hi@pawter.co and we'll handle it within 30 days.

If you're in California, you have additional rights under CCPA. If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR. Either way, email us and we'll comply.

Children

Pawter is intended for adults purchasing pet products. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we'll email anyone who's bought from us and post a notice on this page.
